The World

The Geography: Ozmus is a water planet (not unlike earth…go figure). There is a large landmass about the size of eurazia that dots the middle of the world. Jutting off of the northwest and south east corners of the continenet are large archipelagos the wrap around the world at 45 degree angles.

The Ecology: Every type of landscape adorns this world, from lush tropical rainforest in the southeast to barren frozen wastelands to the northwest. The main world is primarily great plains, rolling hills and copses of deciduous and coniferous forest; not to say that there isnt swamp lands, mountains, and other such landscapes.
The wildlife is varied and plentiful, especially in less populated areas. Obvously the colorful birds of the southeast will not be found in the mountains to the west, but if you travel long enough you are sure to see many different species.

The People: Intelligent life is almost as numerous as the wildlife. The humans and the dwarves hold the majority, but walking around in any town you could see a smattering of all sorts of races from tiefling to the gnomes. Most gather in the large cities to trade or worship. While the more secretive races keep to the forests, and swamps. The only conflict really is betweeen tribal orcs of the plains and the neighboring dwarf, elven, and human settlements.
The “high” races are brought together by the worship of the one true god. He goes by many names, but most call him The Father. This is not to say that other “pagan” religions dont exist. The Orcs and goblins practice a type of voodoo, some elves worship old gods, and some humans worship older more barbaric entitys. These Other religious practices are all illegal in the eyes of the law, though some of the more benign are over looked.
